Adult Individual Therapy

Together we examine the root of your symptoms, and establish goals to reduce the issues that impact you. For others, knowing the root of the problem isn't alway necessary, and we can work by exploreing the way you think, and developing your skills in coping to make your everyday life easier for you.

I integrate attachment, mindfulness, somatic, ACT and CBT techniques to suit your therapeutic needs. I work collaboratively with you to develop your goals, and the work is done in a supportive counseling environment.  Common issues treated are depression, anxiety, coping with loss, overcoming stress, adjustment issues, dealing with life transitions, and dealing with a history of childhood trauma.

My Approach

Individual therapy for young adults and adults begins by getting to know you. I like to spend the first couple weeks gathering an in-depth history, and together we can begin to collaboratively establish goals.  I help keep track of your progress towards your goals.
